You don't need an account to play. If you open the site without logging in you're a guest, and you can sit, play and chat straight away. Guests can write songs in Studio Alone too, but those songs aren't kept, so export them or sign up before you close the tab.

Friends

Send a friend request from the Player menu. Once they accept, you can see which room each other is in and jump straight in from Friends.

Reputation

Reputation is a score that shows as a dial on your profile. Everyone starts at the top, and other players can give you a or from the Player menu while you're in the same room. Ratings fade out over time, so a few can put you in the red, but your score climbs back on its own.

It matters in rooms where the host has set a minimum reputation. If you're under it you can still watch, but you'll need an invite to sit.

Supporters

Supporters are players with a monthly donation at Support Us. They get more room in Studio and longer clips, a texture for their seat card, and a chance of having a song featured at the top of the Song list.
