Collaboration
A Studio room puts everyone on the same song at once, and any change you make shows up for everyone else as you make it. Only the song's owner can open one, either from Create room or with Open the room on the stage in Studio Alone.
Anyone can come in and listen unless the room is private, but they can't change anything until you let them.
Editing
People›Let edit lets a player edit while they're in the room, or a guest until they disconnect.
Collaborators
A collaborator can always edit the song, and it shows up in their own list like it's theirs. The owner adds them by username in Song menu›Collaborators or People.
Saving
The room saves the song as you work, so nobody else needs to press Save. If you're the owner, collaborators' edits only go into your own copy when you press Save in the room, so do that before you leave.
Publishing
Publishing gives your song a public page that anyone can open, even without an account. Press Publish. You don't need to publish again after changing something, because saving a published song updates its page automatically. Press Publish again to take it down.
Pages
Each song page lets people play it, give it a , comment on it, and download it as MIDI or audio. Anyone who isn't an editor gets an Open button, which loads the song in Studio so they can look through the notes and listen, but they can't change it.
Songs
The Songs page has every published song. You can search by song or maker and sort by Newest, Top rated, Views or A to Z.
Forking
Forking makes your own copy of a published song that you can change however you like, and every published song can be forked. Open the song in Studio and press Fork. You'll need an Account, and the copy counts as one of your songs. It starts out unpublished.
